What BetaBlockr Does

BetaBlockr lets creators control visual access effects for opted-in viewers during live video experiences. The browser extension applies visual effects locally in the viewer's browser.

Video Processing

BetaBlockr processes video frames locally in the browser extension to apply visual effects such as pixelation, blur, glitch, solid color, and manual box masking. BetaBlockr does not upload viewer video frames to BetaBlockr servers for AI processing.

Site Access

BetaBlockr only runs on websites where the user enables it from the extension popup. Site access is used to detect video elements and apply local visual effects. BetaBlockr does not read page content for advertising, resale, or unrelated tracking.

Information We Process

• Creator account login session information.
• Viewer display name and access code used to connect to a creator.
• Creator control settings such as effect mode, style, and manual box coordinates.
• Viewer presence information such as connected/disconnected status and current effect state.
• Public creator page information such as display name, bio, profile image URL, social links, offer title, and pricing.
• Payment checkout information handled by Stripe when payments are enabled.

How Information Is Used

We use this information to authenticate creators, validate viewer access codes, sync creator controls to opted-in viewers, show live presence/activity, generate access codes after payment, and operate creator public pages.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. BetaBlockr does not store full credit card numbers. Stripe may collect and process payment information according to Stripe's own policies.

Local Storage

The extension stores local settings, viewer connection details, and creator session data on the user's device so the extension can remain connected between browser sessions.

Sharing

BetaBlockr does not sell personal data. Data may be processed by service providers used to operate the product, including Supabase for authentication/database services, Vercel for hosting, and Stripe for payments.
